Nature is an amazing teacher. When we give our children freedom to explore, we send the message that we trust them. This trust will allow our children to learn to listen to their own gut and do things, not just because we say so, but because they know so. They will know so because they will have had time to test their limits and push past their comfort zones. They will learn to take reasonable risks, and, in turn, learn what they are capable of.
